Toronto Strip Clubs: Inglourious Basterds (Three and a Half Stars)

December 16th, 2009 · No Comments

The next morning , three of them wake up in the suite, hung over
and unable to remember a single damn thing that happened after they
imbibed drink and drug. Here’s what they see: the apartment wrecked,
booze on the furniture, a baby in a bassinet, one of dentist Stu’s
front teeth missing, the Mercedes gone, pizza on the sofa, a mattress
speared on the pole outside, a live tiger in their bathroom. And,
oh yeah, the groom mysteriously missing, with barely hours for the
guys to find and deliver him to the wedding and his beaming bride.
Pretty soon they’ll see Doug’s mattress speared on a roof pole and
they’ll run into the cops whose squad car they stole, the gay Chinese
gangster whose blackjack loot they accidentally glommed, the friendly
stripper/hooker named Jade (Heather Graham) whom Stu married
last night at The Best Little Chapel, Black Doug, and Mike Tyson,
who happens to own the tiger.

11 charged in Toronto brothel raid.

Canwest News Service
Police have charged 11 people following a raid on brothel posing as an “exotic” massage parlour in downtown Toronto on Wednesday afternoon.
One person accused of being a manager at the Toronto Health Spa was charged with keeping a common bawdy house, while the other 10 face lesser charges of being inmates of a common body house.
Det. Sgt. Mike Ervick said all 11 people were working there willingly. He added that he expects more charges to be laid soon against affiliates of the spa that were “higher up the chain.”
A conviction for keeping a common bawdy house can be punishable by up to two years in jail.
Four male clients were at the spa at the time of the raid, but will not be charged, Ervick said. Instead, they will be used as witnesses should the case come to trial, “whether they’d like to or not.”

Toronto Strip Clubs: Tiger’s Wood

December 13th, 2009 · No Comments

Woods has been controversy laden since his mysterious car accident outside his Florida mansion on Thanksgiving. As many as 11 women have been linked to the married golf great, including Long Island model named Loredana Jolie.
Hollywood madam Michelle Braun recently revealed that Woods, 33, shelled out thousands of dollars between 2006 and 2007 for the busty blonde.
“She’s a stunning girl. He went out with her four or five times. She took part in group sex. They met up in 2006 or early 2007. I’d say he paid 15,000 dollars for her,” the New York Daily News quoted Braun as saying. Kellund, owner of Metro Parties, a company that supplies strippers for private events, said: “She was an innocent girl with too much ambition. Everything about her was about fast movement and fame. She wanted to be a star.”

Toronto Strip Clubs: Tiger Woods was playing to the wrong crowd

December 13th, 2009 · No Comments

Gatorade has discontinued its “Tiger Focus” drink. Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer has dropped Woods from ads and cancelled plans for him to design a new line of watches. (Both companies deny Woods’ problems have anything to do with their decisions. This only reaffirms how many corporate executives are invertebrates. They may want to crawl back and beg for his business one day.)
Woods will attempt to suffer in public silence. He is asking for privacy. That’s fine. That’s standard. The problem here is it became a public story two weeks ago. His PR people, his enablers, didn’t get ahead of the story. Woods sat back, hoping it would go away. He hoped a brief statement would satisfy the masses. It didn’t. The story mutated.
The problem now is this isn’t a mainstream media story. It’s a story for media outlets that dig through garbage and pay maids and cooks and strippers for information.

Toronto Strip Clubs: A major decision for Tiger Woods

December 13th, 2009 · No Comments

BILL PLASCHKE
A major decision for Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods celebrates a birdie on No. 18 at Torrey Pines during the fourth round of the 2008 U.S. Open, forcing a tie with Rocco Mediate, whom he’d defeat the following day to win the title. (Richard Hartog / Los Angeles Times / June 15, 2008)
Woods finally makes the right move by choosing his family over golf, but things will never be the same.
So, it turns out, somewhere beneath those strippers and hookers and pancake-house waitresses, there is a soul.
Tiger Woods officially joined the human race Friday when, mired in the thickest rough of his life, he did the one thing he never does.
He acknowledged his mortality. He surrendered to his frailties.
He didn’t try to hit over a towering tree, or around a mature rain forest, or through a canyon ravine.

Toronto Massage Parlors: Cops say ‘brothel’ lured girls

December 11th, 2009 · No Comments

The Toronto Health Spa remains closed after police alleged it was operating as a brothel. The entrance is pictured here on Gerrard St., just west of Yonge St. in Toronto, on Thursday, December 10, 2009 (QMI Agency/Ernest Doroszuk)
TORONTO — Teenaged girls were actively recruited from local youth shelters to work at a brothel fronting as a massage parlour perched above a downtown pub, police say.
It was this information that led downtown vice cops to raid Toronto Health Spa early Wednesday evening, Det. Frank Giancola said yesterday.
As of yesterday, 10 women between 24 and 32 years old were charged with being inmates of a common bawdy house and an 11th woman was charged with keeping a common bawdy house.
More charges, including procuring a person under 18 to become a prostitute and living on the avails of a minor prostitute, could be laid as the investigation continues.
